BUTTA’ was formed in late 2017 and is made up of four members:

Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Gary Clark Jr., Dr. John, Lettuce, Jimi Hendrix, Umphrey’s McGee, At The Drive-In, Bernhoft, Deep Purple, and The Beatles, Covington Groove pushes the envelope of modern day rock.
Covington Groove has had the privilege of opening for renowned artists such as Big Head Todd & The Monsters, five-time Grammy Award winner Mark Lettieri of Snarky Puppy, and Kick the Cat featuring Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee. Additionally, they have shared the stage on multiple occasions with Zach Brock & Bob Lanzetti of Snarky Puppy.
The band members boast an impressive performance history alongside legends, having performed alongside legends like Blues Traveler, Ike Willis (Frank Zappa), Victor Wooten, Joel Cummins (Umphrey’s McGee), Local H, Dawes, Allen Aucoin & Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits), Dennis Chambers, Counting Crows, Fareed Haque, and Bob Franceschini (Paul Simon, Celine Dion, Mike Stern).
